A few days ago, after predicting a second wave of the Coronavirus, a prominent American Scientist, Anthony Fauchi, warned Sunday that the new virus could kill between 100,000 and 200,000 people in the United States.
The chief communicable disease expert at the National Institute of Health told “CNN”, that the expectations that about a million Americans or more will die of the epidemic “are almost out of the discussion, although they are not impossible, but they remain very, very excluded.”
“I don’t want people to pass numbers on me because this is fast-changing, so it is easy to mislead people and be wrong,” added a senior member of the Presidential Administration’s staff, Donald Trump. Nevertheless, Fauchi seemed optimistic about the lack of scanners, saying, “If you compare the situation now with that of weeks ago, we have more checks than before.”
There has been no further updates till today, but we sure do hope things get better soon!
