In a piece of news that many would consider being GREAT! The Egyptian government just officially announced that they have reduced the gas prices to help aid the people amid this Coronavirus pandemic that has caught everyone by storm.

The new prices are as follows:
Fuel 95 new price is: LE 8.50/liter

Fuel 92 new price is: LE 7.50/liter

Fuel 80 new price is: LE 6.25/liter

These prices are set to stay until further notice, and as press time, there has been no confirmed news of which the prices are prone to increase again anytime soon.

In June 2018 The Egyptian authorities declared the changes in prices on the second day of Eid al-Fitr, therefore making it the third time the Egyptian government increased the fuel prices following the austerity measures announced in 2015. So you can imagine how this comes as great news to almost all of us!
