Since he posted the “very normal” photo, comments flooded on the post with horrible words.

Do you remember the story of Karim Fahmy? When he shared a photo of his daughters too, covering their faces with heart emojis. People also harshly insulted him and his daughters because of their curly hair. The same story but in 2020. People never get enough of this.

But it seems that Sherif Moneer won’t let this go easily. Yesterday, he posted a video with his daughters that seems like an awareness campaign against cyberbullying. As a well-known celebrity, he used his power to send the message to all Egyptians. His tone was very serious, not angry or sad, but strong. He wants to take revenge by the law.

Have mercy to the father who was just posting the photo, because he is so proud of his pretty daughters. I cannot imagine how someone is capable of letting others down in that way. No! Have mercy for the girls who saw words like these. While actually, the bully does the same or even worse.

Dr. Juntune, a professor at Texas University, once said: “The bully can be violent, manipulative, cruel, without empathy and generally unpleasant”. “They may also be at greater risk for suicidal thoughts and behaviors”. Some people actually love to bully others; for them, it’s their way for satisfaction and pleasure.

I always wonder what’s funny about making fun of someone because of his color, appearance, or even clothes. When are we going to stop hating on each other? I hope this happens one day soon. Now I know what they meant by “The internet is a double-edged sword”.
