You know that you have your life together when you have good looking nails! Just like hair, we have lots of bad nail days, and with the current situation, nail salons come at the bottom of our priority places to visit. This doesn’t mean that we have to deal with chipped nails and overgrown cuticles though, with some easy steps and a simple routine, you can have the perfect salon looking nails, and here’s how:

Step #1

Did you know that fingernails grow at A rate of 0.1 millimeters per day? They don’t always grow at the same speed though, and before working on the outside, you have to fix the problem from the inside. Start your routine with some healthy habits. Eating some kinds of food will boost nail health like vegetables, almonds, salmon fish, and many others. Also, drink enough water,  it’s essential for nails moisture, and getting enough sleep will help your body to heal and give the nails the chance to grow glowy.

Step #2

Moisturizing is the second step in your nail care road. You should keep your nail beds, cuticles, and hands hydrated to avoid peeling, cracking, or breaking. There are a lot of options to get this mission done. You may use natural oils such as jojoba oil or olive oil, grapeseed oil, or almond oil. Natural oils are found at Nefertari, Black Lotus, Imtenan, or any trusted attar.

Besides, you can use any nail serum of your choice. A lot of Egyptian brands provide high-quality nail serums including Joviality, Areej, and Nankar

Keeping your hands moisturized is also a crucial factor for healthy-looking hands and nails. Apply hand cream regularly. There are plenty of options for hand creams in markets, however, I do suggest some of them. Eva Collagen and Tamari Natural products hand cream have very nice ones for very reasonable prices. If you are ready to pamper yourself and pay some extra money, I recommend the very efficient hand and nail cream from Nuxe. I suggest you repeat this moisturizing step twice per day.

Step #3

This is step is to be done once a week or every two weeks, which is a pedicure. No need to visit a salon each time you can just do it at home. First, soak your hands in a soapy warm water for 10 to 15 minutes to clean your nails properly and soften the cuticle. After that, use a file to shape and seal the nails’ edges. Next, the wooden or rubber cuticle pusher role comes where you push back the cuticles. so nails show up longer. For foot nails,  you should do the same steps. Moreover, the feet take extra care. Soak your feet in warm water mixed with sea salt for 10 to 15 minutes, then scrub them with feet scrubber or file. Apply foot palm that’s made especially to give your feet the adequate hydration. I totally recommend Joviality, Elixir, or Raw African foot balms.
