Persistence is her middle name and she doesn't rest until getting the job done. Having a lot of experience in everything fashion related, she's our go-to girl when it comes to Elie Saab, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, or Alexander McQueen.
When someone mentions fondant cakes, all we can think of are those horror stories shared on Facebook about ordering a specific cake and receiving a totally different looking one on the day of the occasion. While some cakes can look a bit different, with some missing details, others can look horribly wrong, and even scary. This made us realize that the art of making cakes is not easy at all, and just when we thought that some of the cakes on the internet can never be real, we discovered this beyond talented Cake Decorator, Marwa Sadek, who creates a whole new level of fondant cakes!
Marwa Sadek is definitely a gifted artist when it comes to making cakes. For her, it’s never “just a cake,” it holds a much deeper meaning of celebrating beautiful moments. She enjoys working on original pieces that add so much meaning to her clients on their special days. Having studied interior design, you’ll find that most of Sadek’s work is influenced by architecture with intricate details.
Some of the details in her cakes look so real, and it’s beyond the level of remaking a unicorn fondant cake or making some cream layered cake, it’s about adding texture, carving shapes, and making hand made edible flowers that are too good to be eaten!
While we were disappointed that we can’t have a taste from these sublime looking cakes, we can’t make orders as Marwa is based in Bahrain. However, if you are a cake decorator, you have a chance to learn some of her techniques, as she comes to Egypt for private and group courses starting from 1,500 L.E.
