Yahya Al-Fakharani has finally returned to the silver screen … and we’re glad that he did so in this manner. Aside from the fact that the guy could be weighed in gold when it comes to acting, we’re super glad that he has created something that has nothing to do with cheating, murder, “tar”, or a long-forgotten lover!
So, here’s what the series is about: A wealthy man discovers a shocking secret after 30 years: that he has a son who knows nothing about him. So, he embarks on a journey with his servant to find him. He comes upon three young men of whom he doesn’t know which is his own flesh and blood, so he feels compelled to get to know them all to find him.
The character of “Naguib” is that in the evening when he gets drunk he tends to be a very different person from his character in the morning. In the evening, a good person talks to “Tarif”, the servant of the palace, and deals with him well, and in the morning he turns against him. The conflict between the two characters is just phenomenal.
“Shafiqa” gets sick and asks to see “Naguib” and asks him to restore her dignity before her death by marrying her. He accepts that, and as soon as the marriage is concluded, she stands on her feet and lets out the chanting.
– “Naguib” waits for “Layali”, a nurse, who he met at the airport and asked her to come to his house to take care of him. As for “Sherine”, she is his sister who takes care of all his affairs.
– “Naguib” is the son of a family who came to Egypt 120 years ago and brought art to Egypt. His grandfather bought many theaters, and his father bought cinemas, and both of them married dancers. As for him, he has the most famous malls and cinemas in Egypt, and 3 young men “Saeed, Mossad and Saad” work in them. On their stories yet.
We really won’t proceed with telling you everything about the series, because where’s the fun in that! But we sure do recommend it if you’re looking to enjoy a light series that has a point to prove or maybe a life lesson to teach!
It is noteworthy that the series “Naguib Zahi Zarkash” written by Abdel-Rahim Kamal, directed by Shadi Al-Fakharani, co-stars Yahya Al-Fakharani, Hala Fakher, Anushka, Karim Afifi, Ramez Amir, and Islam Ibrahim.
Crazy, funny, and optimistic. This is how Omar can be described. A cinephile who prefers Marvel over DC. You would definitely talk to him for hours without feeling bored!
