The situation hasn’t been so calm the last few in Palestine. Let’s be honest, it never was with the occupation’s authorities always making sure to make Palestinians live a living hell by demolishing their homes and kicking them out. But the last few days ended with a victory to Palestinians who managed to tear down the barriers that the occupation forces put up on the Damascus gate (Bab al-Amud), one of the main gates leading to Jerusalem.

Let’s rewind back to a few days before, when Israelis Jews roamed the streets shouting “Death to Arabs” and “Go out Arabs”. Clashes started between Palestinians and Israelis. Palestinians, angry with the oppressor who just doesn’t know when to quit and who makes sure to steal every now and then so that they can control the whole land and make Palestinians just give up their rights. Israelis are convinced that they are not the ones at fault even though they are the ones who kill, steal and hurt. The occupation police tried to calm the situation down so they did what they do best: they arrested more than 50 protesters and injured about 100 people. The anger didn’t just stop there, it touched the occupied West Bank and dozens of rockets were fired from Gaza to The Occupied Territories of Palestine but not causing much damage to the “only democratic state in the Middle East”.

The 26th of April marked a victory for the Palestinians who managed to force the Israelis forces to open the Damascus Gate right after the Tarawih prayer and soon after we have seen beautiful images of Palestinians chanting their victory and running into the plaza to pray. Let’s go over some of them together to bring you the same happiness it brought us.

Yes, combats have been going back and forth between Palestinians and Israelis but how do you compare a tank to a rock? How do you compare a flag to tear gas? How do you compare your home being taken away to a land that wasn’t yours to start with be taken away from you? Palestine is never forgotten. Palestine was never forgotten. Palestinians rights to live with all the rights that governments and associations spend day and night defending are not forgotten. We will continue to talk about it every day because it’s the normal thing to do. It’s the normal in a world that assures us that every soul deserves to have their full rights especially if it’s your home not being taken away and your children going to schools or just not being killed or your family members spending days, hell even years in prison. Also, tell me why do we see you everywhere?

A thread has been going all over social media with people loyal to the case seeing the Palestinian lands everywhere, why not go over a few?

It all started with this :
