As part of Egypt’s recent development of the country, in part of the initiative Hayah Karima, the government will be extending optical fiber cables to the sum of 52 rural areas, or marakez, across the country.
The idea is to facilitate the lives of the people who are located in these areas and encourage entrepreneurs to establish businesses that could serve these well-forgotten parts of the country.
This so that these parts of the country could have access to faster and more stable networks and stable land internet with high-speed performances.
Haya Karima is a massive-scale project across the country that aims to improve the living standards of people This initiative targets improving the living standard of citizens in 175 towns and 4,209 villages, with a total budget of LE 515 billion allocated for the project when first announced.
