Every time before I decide to get off my lazy bottom and go to the gym, I feel like there’s something that is missing that makes me (sometimes) decide not to go … Energy. I learned, perhaps maybe the hard way, that there’s a fine line between having enough energy to go to the gym and being bloated to an extent that you just won’t be able to work out properly.
So, after extensive (not that much) research I came up with the perfect pre-workout meals that will give you the perfect amount of energy to complete the workout and without feeling bloated:
- Fruit smoothies.
- Yogurt parfaits with granola and fruit.
- Whole grain bread with a couple of slices of lean meat.
- Chicken with rice and vegetables.
- Apples with peanut butter and raisins.
- Greek yogurt.
