Cynthia Khalifeh apologizes for being unable to attend the upcoming opening ceremony of the 5th edition of El Gouna Film Festival on October 14th. The actress confirmed that she was already preparing to attend the festival, but a Hollywood opportunity has risen and she will be filming in Miami, Florida in the US alongside the American actor Danny Glover in a new series produced by Paper Empire.

The actress pays tribute stressing that she will do her best to join later on during the festival.

“I’m sad to miss GFF as it’s my favorite festival but I’m happy and excited for Hollywood, it’s a dream come true” She added “I will be acting alongside the huge international American actor, Danny Glover” She also added “This is a great opportunity for me to gain the international exposure I need for my career, as I’m shooting a show that will be released on TV across the United States and on International streaming platforms”

The actress mentioned that she will be able to announce more details about her role in the American project when she lands later this week in El Gouna.

Cynthia has settled down in Cairo, Egypt and she will be back soon after Gouna to resume shooting her Egyptian projects “Ä Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce” Arabic remake and “Bimbo”, both of which will be released soon.
